Diabetes is a chronic health condition where the body is unable to properly process glucose (sugar) in the blood, leading to elevated blood sugar levels. Diabetes is categorized mainly into two types: Type 1, where the body fails to produce sufficient insulin, and Type 2, where the body becomes resistant to insulin or doesn’t produce enough. Symptoms can include excessive thirst, frequent urination, hunger, fatigue, and blurred vision. Management involves monitoring blood sugar levels, diet, exercise, medication, and in some cases, insulin therapy.
