About Your Healthy Prostate

Your Healthy Prostate provides clear, evidence-based information about prostate health, men’s health, and healthy aging.

The website explains medical research in plain language. It also offers interactive tools that help readers explore health information and prepare better questions for their healthcare professionals.

My name is Makhsud Tagirov. I created this website after my own experience with chronic prostatitis. Finding clear and balanced information was often difficult. I wanted to build the kind of resource that I had needed at that time.

The website has grown since then. It still has a strong focus on prostate health, but it now also looks at the wider factors that affect a man’s health, function, and quality of life as he ages.

A Personal Starting Point

Why I Started This Website

My interest in prostate health became personal when I developed chronic prostatitis. The condition affected my comfort, daily life, and peace of mind.

Finding useful information was not easy. Some sources were too technical. Others made strong claims without enough evidence. Medical treatment was important, but I still had many questions about symptoms, lifestyle, recovery, and long-term health.

My background in biology and biotechnology helped me study the subject more closely. I began reading medical research and comparing different explanations and approaches.

I created Your Healthy Prostate to share what I learned in a form that other people could understand. My experience is not a treatment plan for everyone. It is simply the reason this project began.

The Person Behind the Site

About Me

Ph.D. in Biotechnology Background in Biology Molecular Reproduction Founder and Publisher

My name is Makhsud Tagirov. I have a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and a background in biology, biotechnology, and molecular reproduction.

Science has always shaped the way I look at the world. I enjoy understanding how the body works and why a treatment, habit, or health recommendation may help. But personal experience taught me that real health problems rarely fit neatly into a textbook.

I know what it is like to search for answers, read one article after another, and still wonder what the information means for everyday life. That experience influences how I write.

I am not a physician, and I do not provide medical care. I am a scientist by training, a patient by experience, and the person behind this website. I continue to learn, ask questions, and improve the site as new evidence and reader feedback become available.

The Wider Picture

From Prostate Health to Healthy Aging

Over time, I realized that prostate health cannot be separated from the rest of the body.

Blood-vessel health, metabolism, physical activity, sleep, stress, nutrition, and body composition can affect both prostate health and general well-being. The same factors also influence how well we function as we grow older.

This led to the creation of the Healthspan & Longevity Intelligence System. It looks at several areas of health separately and helps users see where more attention may be useful.

The prostate was the starting point, but the larger subject has always been the health and quality of life of the whole person.

Evidence and Clear Limits

Useful health information should explain both what is known and what remains uncertain.

How I Approach Health Information

I do not expect readers to accept a claim simply because it appears on this website.

When I research a topic, I look for clinical guidelines, medical reviews, and peer-reviewed studies. I compare different sources and pay attention to the quality of the evidence.

Not every study gives a final answer. When the evidence is limited or mixed, I try to say so clearly.

Health information changes. Articles and tools should be reviewed when stronger evidence becomes available.

What This Website Cannot Do

A website cannot know your full medical history. It cannot examine you, order tests, or understand every detail of your situation.

The articles and tools on Your Healthy Prostate are for education. They do not provide a diagnosis or a personal treatment plan.

A result from a quiz, calculator, or assessment should not replace medical care.

Good health information should support careful decisions, not create false certainty.

Your Feedback Matters

Reader questions often show me where an explanation is unclear or where an important point is missing.

If you use one of the interactive tools, I would like to know what worked and what did not. A confusing question, an unexpected result, or a button that does not work correctly is useful feedback.

I also welcome review from physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals. You do not need to agree with everything on the site. Specific criticism helps me improve it.

Thank you for visiting Your Healthy Prostate. I hope you find something here that helps you understand your health a little better.
