The Body mass index (BMI) is calculated by dividing body mass by the square of the body height and is expressed in kg/m2.

  • BMI<18.5 kg/m2 – underweight,
  • BMI (18.5 to 25) – normal weight,
  • BMI (25 to 30) – overweight ,
  • BMI>30 – obese.
